Planting Annual & Perennial Plants
Arrange your plants around your planting area while still in their pots. Make sure you have taken into consideration the height/width of the plants as well as the sun or shade requirements. Water your plants while still in the pot. Dig a hole a few inches wider than the container.
Remove the plants from their pots by inverting them and supporting the root ball. If the roots are compacted, you may need to make a few shallow cuts on the side and bottom of the root ball or gently rub the roots loose. Add a handful of Flower Doo 201 into the hole then place you plant in the hole. Mix Flower Doo 201 into the loose soil and fill in the hole and gently push down soil around the hole.
Apply a 1/4" of organic Dairy Doo soil amendment around the surface of the plant, cover with 2 inches mulch and water thoroughly.
Apply organic Dairy Doo in the spring and fall and fertilize with Jack's Classic every 7-10 days.
Planting Trees & Shrubs

Balled and burlapped (B&B) and containerized plants can be planted any time the ground is not frozen. Plant your tree as soon as possible after bringing it home. If you can't plant it immediately, put it in a shady and sheltered location and keep the soil moist until planted.
Dig a hole twice the width of your root ball or container and the same depth. Mix Dairy Doo Tree 'N Shrub in with loose dirt, backfill several inches at a time, pack the soil down with water and a spade and repeat until the whole is filled. Top dress around the dripline with more Dairy Doo Tree 'N Shrub. Water your newly planted tree or shrub by using a slow, deep watering method.
General Watering Guidline:
1 gal. : Slow trickle for approx. 10-15 minutes
2 gal. : Slow trickle for approx. 15-20 minutes
3 gal. : Slow trickle for approx. 20-30 minutes
4-7 gallons : Slow trickle for approx. 30-45 minutes
B&B: Slow trickle for 45-60 minutes
*Even if it rains, it many not be sufficient enough for your newly planted shrub or tree. You need more than 1/2 inch of rain.
Add 2:-3" of mulch around the plant. Avoid mulching too thickly around the trunk or stem to prevent disease.
Reapply 1/4" of Dairy Doo soil amendment in the spring and fall.
